NIGEL COUTINHO is a cinematographer, musician and sound editor with a hybrid background in film and audio production. He received the Best Cinematography Award at the 2016 Q Cinema International Film Festival, and his narrative audio piece Beyond Belief aired as an episode of the podcast This Is Actually Happening. His work as a cinematographer has screened at film festivals in the U.S. and internationally, having lensed the micro-budget short films Furious Saint Jack & Otter, Alone (2014), Dads (2016), and Getting Closer (2021). His current project is chromatic aberration, an audio series featuring anonymous interviews with resilient strangers in and around Portland, Oregon. |
