NIGEL COUTINHO is a cinematographer, editor and sound mixer with a hybrid background in film & video production and audio post-production. His work has screened at film festivals in the U.S. and internationally, having lensed the micro-budget short films Furious Saint Jack & Otter, Alone (2014), Dads (2016), Getting Closer (2021), and At Lucy's Last Night (2023) for director Ethan Roberts. Most recently, he produced the limited series podcast chromatic aberration, and recorded and edited the audiobook Lead With Hospitality, released by Audible. He served as a co-editor of VERA, a feature-length documentary following a revival of the circus sideshow, directed a pair of music videos for the band September Stories,—released by InVogue Records--and his narrative audio piece Beyond Belief aired as an episode of the podcast This Is Actually Happening. He received the Best Cinematography Award at the 2016 Q Cinema International Film Festival.
